2. Good Heavens Comedy Club

Tokyo’s flagship English comedy show, it is held every Wednesday and features some of the best of Tokyo’s comedy talent as well as up-and-coming stars.
The comedians are all from different countries, and every week the line-up changes. You can see a wide range of international comedians here in Shimokitazawa.

Good Heavens Comedy Club

Good Heavens is a British pub, serving fish and chips as well as a wide variety of delicious alcoholic drinks. It’s a great place to go with friends even when you’re not watching comedy!

3. English Stand-up Comedy Show “Jokes About Japan” in Asakusa

Tokyo’s biggest comedy show.
All the comedians are local and they tell jokes about Japan.
It’s not only funny, but also informative and educational.
If you want to know about Japan through comedy, you should definitely check out this comedy show.

8-10 comedians from all over the world will perform on the stage, and tell jokes about Japan! Each performance will be from 5-10 minutes.

You can enjoy all sorts of drinks (beer, wine, cocktails, whiskey, sake, shochu, etc…) and snacks from the bar while watching comedy. There is a 10-min break between the 1st half and 2nd half (about 40 mins long each).

4. Shinjuku Comedy Club

The Shinjuku Comedy Club was formed by people who play active roles on stage, shows and TV programs like America’s Got Talent all over the world.
This is a one-hour event, featuring magic and non-verbal comedy such as impersonation, slapstick and so on, which is sure to entertain anyone from anywhere in the world.

5. The TCS Improvazilla Show

Improvazilla features some of the best improv in Tokyo!
With a level of audience participation that leaves you feeling great, join them as they perform improvised scenes based on your suggestions – anything can happen and often does! They fly between an always-changing variety of characters, genres, and situations in the first act’s What’s On Your Mind montage, and then finish off the show with an improvised Musical Premiere based on a title or personal story you suggest!
